Religions are at odds with each other. Religious people don’t always agree with each other – even within their own sects. But everyone seems to worship at the alter of money and conspicuous consumerism. And everyone seems to commit the too-often deadly sin of debt.

At first blush, religion seems a bit of a departure for Vigna who has spent most of his career covering equity markets, economics and cryptocrrencies. Or maybe capitalism is more of a religion and less of a science than we think.
