I always wondered why Chip Wilson came up with such a long, confusing to pronounce and not that easy to spell name. I miss companies with names like Gap (Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, which was also the origins of A&P) that fit better on a logo. It was bad enough in the days we had 58 characters to fit a flash headline into like 'Venezuela's Hugo Chavez,' without having to worry about 'Lululemon's Chip Wilson.' Acme would have been better.
